Blasting boxes

Blasting boxes are allowed at Canadian airport checkpoints only if:

• They don't have any dangerous items like large lithium batteries.
• There are no prohibited items like blasting caps or detonators inside the box or in your carry-on bag.
• The box hasn't been tampered with or altered.
• No alarms go off that can't be resolved. There isn't anything suspicious inside the box or your carry-on bag that can't be explained.
